COER’s injury and pain management feature is specifically designed to help you monitor discomfort, adjust your training, and support your recovery. Here's how you can make the most of this feature.
Step 1. Logging Injuries and Pain
Tracking your injuries and pain is the first step to recovery. With COER, it's simple to register and monitor any issues you encounter during training.
Navigate to the Injury & Pain Management Section: Open the app and access the designated section for tracking injuries.
Add Injury or Pain: Click the “Add” button to register a new issue.
Link Related Injuries: If the current issue is associated with a previous injury or pain, select the relation type to track chronic or recurring conditions effectively.
Identify the Affected Area: Select the associated body part experiencing discomfort.
Provide Detailed Information:
Severity or pain level
Onset date
Activities causing discomfort
Impact on training
Save Your Entry: Once saved, your report will be available for continuous tracking.
By documenting these details, COER helps you build a comprehensive history, enabling better insights and adjustments to your training plan.
Step 2: Monitoring Recovery Progress
Staying consistent with updates is essential for effective pain management. COER’s injury tracking system ensures that you can monitor your progress over time.
After registering an issue, you can monitor its progress in the History tab.
Regularly update the status of your injury or pain:
Improvements in severity.
Notes on treatments or adjustments in training.
Track trends and patterns to better understand recovery progress.
Step 3. Adjusting Your Training for Safe Recovery
One of COER’s strengths is its ability to adapt your training plan based on your injury or pain.
Tailored Recovery Tips: COER provides recovery recommendations specific to your logged condition.
Modify Training Plans: Pause or adjust certain movements and exercises to avoid further aggravation.
