[User Guide] Start Your Training Journey with a D-Day Goal

Updated: 3 hours ago

Setting a clear goal is the foundation of effective training, and COER makes this process seamless with its D-Day feature. Whether you’re preparing for a competition, a personal milestone, or simply aiming to improve, D-Day helps you structure your training and track your progress every step of the way.

Why Set a D-Day?

D-Day is more than just a date—it’s your roadmap to achieving your fitness aspirations. By setting a specific goal date, COER aligns your training plans, Readiness insights, and milestones to help you peak at the right time. This feature not only boosts your focus but also keeps you motivated throughout your journey.

Getting Started: Setting Your D-Day

When onboarding with the COER app, you’ll be prompted to set a D-Day. This is a mandatory step to ensure your training cycles are goal-oriented.

  • Set Your Goal Date: Choose a date at least 3 months to 1 year away. This allows COER to optimize your training cycle for long-term success.

  • Edit Anytime: Need to adjust your target? The D-Day setting is flexible and can be updated anytime through the D-Day settings screen.

Break It Down with Milestones

Achieving a big goal can feel overwhelming, but breaking it down into smaller, manageable steps makes it achievable.

  • Add Milestones: Use the Milestone feature to create intermediate goals leading up to your D-Day.

  • Stay Motivated: Each milestone acts as a checkpoint, keeping you focused and driven throughout your training journey.

Track Your Progress with D-Day Insights

COER’s D-Day progress tracking provides a comprehensive view of your training journey:

  • D-Day Progress Screen: Visualize your progress toward the big day. This screen displays changes in your Readiness, performance metrics, and training volume, helping you fine-tune your efforts as the date approaches.

  • Plan with Precision: Use the insights to adjust your intensity, workload, or recovery periods to ensure optimal results on D-Day.

Celebrate and Learn with D-Day History

Reaching your D-Day is a moment to celebrate—but it’s also an opportunity to reflect and grow.

  • Access Your History: After your D-Day ends, all training records leading up to the goal are stored in the D-Day History.

  • Plan Ahead: Use your past data to inform future goals and training plans, ensuring continuous improvement in your fitness journey.

D-Day: Your Motivational Anchor

Whether you’re gearing up for a CrossFit competition, a marathon, or personal fitness milestones, D-Day keeps you on track. By turning your fitness journey into a structured, data-driven process, COER ensures every step you take is purposeful and effective.

Start your journey today, set your D-Day, and let COER guide you to your goals with precision and motivation.
